The BTE Academy was mainly started for the sharing, and consequently increasing of knowledge.
BTE offers its employees the opportunity of developing their talents. Where possible, this is done by using BTE's own employees, but third parties will also provide the courses.
Introduction classes
The try-out of the BTE Academy's introduction classes took place in 2016. These introduction classes were developed for new employees of the various BTE companies in order to get to know these companies and to share knowledge. Various employees took part in the try-out. This allowed the coaches to practice and receive feedback on the classes.
From January 2017 onwards, all new employees of the BTE companies will take these introduction classes. A decision was made that employees who have only been in the employment of BTE companies recently will also participate in the training course. The course takes up two half-days and is concluded with a test. If the test result is positive, then the employee will receive a BTE Academy certificate.
